Optimize Long-Term Value – Evaluate lifecycle costs and ROI, compared to the initial investment.

Provide an Inclusive Environment – Develop welcoming spaces and places that celebrate diversity.

Foster Student Success – Incorporate best-practice strategies known to promote academic success.

Enhance Health and Wellness – Incorporate best-practice strategies known to promote physical and emotional wellbeing.

Make the Building a Living Learning Lab – Use the building (construction, occupation, and operation) as an educational tool to demonstrate impact and foster positive behavior.

Strengthen Campus Connections – Use the building and grounds to improve social and physical connections across the campus: walkability, accessibility, wayfinding, etc.
